My girlfriend went here for a late dinner, and you could tell things were winding down for the night, but the service was still fantastic, the host and our server were both very nice and personable. The food was amazing. When we sat down we got a basket of warm bread and a bowl of black truffle. My girlfriend got the four cheese gnocchi, and it has to be the best gnocchi I've ever had. I highly recommend eating here.

I had read somewhere that this restaurant had a very good porcini mushroom risotto. I have been on a quest to find a fabulous porcini risotto along with incredible BBQ ribs, and a mouth watering Chili Relleno. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
The wife and I came here and ordered the clam appetizer along with a steak and the truffle porcini mushroom risotto.
The clams were very good...served in a tomato based sauce/almost soup. The wait staff were terrific and split the clams up so we each had our own bowl.
The steak (ordered medium rare) came out rare. Which usually is OK as I would eat the middle and my wife would have the outside areas. But this was way too undercooked. We sent the wife's portion back to be cooked some more. The steak came with a mushroom sauce some garlic spinach, polenta and some carrots. All just OK, but we really could have used a steak knife.
The Risotto; this is what attracted me to this restaurant in the first place was just OK. I have had great porcini risotto at three restaurants. The first one was in Beverly Hills ages ago and that restaurant is no longer there. Just recently at a dinner in Las Vegas. And Nick & Steph in DTLA.
I am still on my quest for this dish on the west side of L.A.
We took two deserts home. I haven't tasted them yet.
Parking was easy.
The waiters, bus boy et al were terrific.

A neighborhood delight on Robertson Boulevard in Wilshire district.The food is outstanding in the price very fair. Service is excellent. Owner is one of the chefs and you can tell the love he puts into each meal. Strongly suggest if you like Italian, this is the best in Los Angeles.

There is no decent explanation for this yelp account. I find it very hard to believe real people, with a mouth and tasting parts would actually rate this place 5 stars. Was there because of the rating. Left after the starters. If you like microwaved food, go for it!
Its not authentic, not Italian and not good. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. -

Awesome and affordable Italian food with great service. They allow BYOB and they even let you order half-orders for your entrees so you can try two different dishes! Bread and olive oil for the table. The pasta was homemade and delicious. I recommend the carbonara. Highly recommended for a nice affordable Italian meal.
